This postcard of Czechoslovakia was issued in March 1945 as the second postcard after World War 2. Below the image of Košice Cathedral, it was only labelled with the text "The truth prevails!".
The postal stationery (CDV 74) was sent with the additional services of registered mail and express delivery. The additional charges for this (3 R, 4 Ex) were paid in cash, as the handwritten note in the top right-hand corner (7 Kčs) shows.
The overpainting of the text on the reverse was done by the censorship office, which examined the card for "invisible" ink. Some traces of this colour application extend to the front.
